POS Hardware Support

For those who purchased POS hardware elsewhere or who need assistance after the first year.

We will assist you with the setup and use of your existing hardware for 12 months, by phone or email. (Please see the list of limitations below.) Compared to on-site service rates from other companies at around $80/hour, this plan can save you time and lots of money!

POS Hardware Support Includes:

  • Connecting POS devices and report printers to your computer by identifying proper ports and cables for each device.
  • Configuring these devices to work with Artisan POS software.
  • Assistance with paper jams, alignment, error lights, and other minor malfunctions.

Limitations:

  • Does not include basic computer support or education.
  • Limited to devices that are supported by Artisan POS Software, including most Receipt Printers, Report Printers, Pole Displays, MSRs, Bar Code Scanners, & Cash Drawers. Also includes specific Label Printers & PDTs. 
  • Does not include any Network Hardware or Configuration. Networking help available separately.
  • The hardware must be in proper working order, and used as intended by the manufacturer. (We will help you identify non-working hardware, but repairs must be made by your vendor or manufacturer.)
  • Software programming is not included, especially new and modified label formats, and forms. (Custom form and label design services available.)
  • You must have proper documentation of the equipment if it is necessary. Research costs extra.
